enduro big four stroke XR600r rider. I love hard climbing,
despite the weight of my "babe". I just think that, since
XRs are XC/Enduro bikes you sould include something about
your aussie riders like J. Hendricks, The allmighty Shane
Watts or the inoxidable Stefan Merriman, did they had an XR
experience ?. well! greetings here from Portugal and...
keep riding!

Comments: GOD Where did they get the courage to call the 1992 XR a
sturdy reliable and strong bike? I thought this all was
true but now I know better, never , never again will I buy
such a Shity bike as a Honda XR 250 R. I am sure that all
you Honda owners out there are frowning now, well i respect
that because you probally/hopefully have better experiences
with this F***CK UP bike than me. It's going to be HUSABERG
and nothing else anymore I would rather have European
quality than Azian Quantity. But still respect to all you
XR owners out there!

back. I am a new XR owner (00 XR650R) actually the frame
and engine are 2000 the rest of the bike is 2001, but I
bought it as a 2000 for a too good to pass up deal. The old
Husky will have to sit in the garage.
Keep up the good work, I'll be back.

people from different countries own XR's and how many of
them comment that the XR of their choice is so well suited
to where they are from. I think it is a pretty versatile
machine regardless of where you are from. I ride an XR650R
here in Alice Springs, Australia and beleive it or not its
well suited to this place as well. Anyway keep up the good
work it is appreciated. Regards John.

guys that insist that the XR600R is THE only big thumper to
ride! Our favorite haunts are Rampart Range in Pike
National Forest - Colorado, Little Sahara's Sand Dunes in
Waynoka, Oklahoma, and Stillwater, Oklahoma. Baja, Costa
Rica, and Australia are all places we'd love to ride
someday. Glad to know that we'd be in great company!

love them to no end. I have been seen on a 1986 XR600R and
a 1995 XR628R. Currently I am enjoying a 2000 XR650R. I
have performed intake, exhaust, and carburator
modifications to this bike and very much like the 55 horses
that it barks out. Offroad and enduros are my bag and I
have had great results with this new bike. See ya'all at

Comments: I WAS LOOKING FOR ONFO REGAURDING THE PRICE OF A XR-600. IT
IS A 96 AND THE PERSON SELLING IT IS ASKING 2700 FOR IT. I
LOOKED AT IT AND IT WAS NOT IN BAD SHAPE ( DINGED UP
MUFFLER, AND A DENT ON THE BOTTOM OF THE FRAME.)SO I WAS
WONDERING IF THIS IS A OUTRAGIOUS PRICE OR NOT. CURRENTLY I
RIDE A 83 600-XL THAT HAS BEEN MADE "GHETTO" AS MY FRIENDS
SAY. IT RUNS STRONG, BUT IS OLD. I PAID 150 FOR IT AND HAVE
KEPT IT WELL MAINTAINED FOR THE PAST 3.5 MONTHS AND IT HAS
BEEN VERY RELIABLE. I'VE HAD TO PATCH BOTH SIDES OF THE
CASE W/STEEL REINFORCED EPOXY NUMEROUS TIMES. THERE IS
PLENTY OF MEXICAN CROME (DUCT TAPE)HOLDING THE SHOCK BOOTS
TOGETHER AND NONE OF THE (3) SHOCKS HAVE ANY OIL LEFT IN
THEM. THIS MAKES THE BIKE HANDLE GOOD BECAUSE I ONLY WEIGH
150.ALSO THE HEAD LIGHT IS HELD ON BY BAILING WIRE. I
FINALY HAD TO REPLACE THE SPROCKETS,CHAIN,AND BRAKES
BECAUSE THEY WERE WORN SO BAD.THE ONLY PROBLEMS I'V HAD ARE
THAT THE BIKE HATES COLD MORNINGS, SMOKES BAD WHEN IT IS
COLD, AND SPUTTERS IF I GET TOO HIGH IN THE RPMS(DIRTY
CARBS)BUT ALL IN ALL I'V FALLEN IN LOVE WITH THE WORK HORSE
600 AND WISH TO GET A NEWER ONE AT A REASONABLE PRICE!
P.S. I ENJOYED YOUR WEBSITE AND WILL VISIT AS OFTEN AS
POSSIBLE -FROM CARSON CITY NV HOME OF R.J.'S "GHETTO" 600-
XL
