I used to have a 1983 Honda XR350R. That bike was a blast! It was worn out though and would cost too much to rebuild. I was sick of tryin' to find good ridin' spots and gettin' kicked out of and tresspassing on private land (the best riding spots), so I sold it last year for $1000 U.S. dollars and bought a 1985 Yamaha XT600N. Now I can rip legally, guilt free.

Followed a link from the Moto Web Ring to your site...Liked the layout, grafx, and background music...I didn't know there were so many dedicated XR enthusiasts out there! I could probably get into dirt riding again...Mayber lose about 100 pounds or so, and beef up the suspension on my Goldwing....Whaddya' think?
For a look at road riders from across the world, check out my site! AAHH young grasshoppers! When you start to get old, you'll realize that low and slow is the only way to go!

What bike do you ride? (make/year/model): 89 Honda XR600RK

Great page. Rumours of new XR600 in 1999 with alloy frame and 20% less weight with 20% more horsepower has me drooling.

Mod's to my bike: '89 CR500 front end (forks and triple clamp) bolts straight in and makes a huge improvement for cross country and occassional motocross racing (I'm a heavy bloke). Flat slide carby improves response and lighter throttle is easy on the wrist. Repackable aluminium muffler from HorsePower Factory Racing (South Australia) adds a bit more power as well as a nice note. UFO plastics and MXA stickers keep it looking good.
